Do you enjoy nurturing community and
welcoming the stranger? Are you driven by a desire for justice and
a commitment to peace? The Casa is seeking volunteers to
work in our Quaker Peace Center.
Responsibilities include working in the Casa's Hospitality Program and
in the reception of our guest house,
organizing events and activities, developing the Casa’s Peace and
Service Resource Center, research and writing, supporting and working
with partner organizations in Mexico, participating in service days and
Casa maintenance, and
assisting in fundraising and outreach. Candidates should be
committed to helping build a social justice oriented environment of friendship,
working cooperatively, and living in community. Volunteers serve for
6-12 months. The ability to communicate in Spanish is required.

Friend in Residence
Quakers interested in serving as
Friends in Residence in the Casa for 3-12 months under the joint care of
the Mexico City Monthly Meeting are also encouraged to inquire.
Other volunteer
opportunities with the Casa may be available. Let us know what skills you
